Your Right to Erasure
Under data protection laws including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and LGPD (Brazil), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data.
Focus Pro makes it easy to exercise this right directly within the app.
What Gets Deleted
- Firebase Auth account and account profile mirrors.
- Synced Firestore data under your user account (tasks, habits, notes, sessions, stats, calendar data, synced settings).
- Uploaded profile photos in Firebase Storage.
- Promo entitlement records and matching promo audit events linked to your account email.
- Local app data on this device: note drafts, legacy offline notes cache, focus quota/throttle keys, user-scoped preferences, downloaded ambient audio files, and saved iOS Focus Shield selection data.
What We Cannot Delete
Some data is managed by third parties and must be managed through them:
- Apple/Google account identity data: managed by your Apple ID or Google Account.
- Subscription billing history and store transaction records: retained by Apple App Store or Google Play under their policies.
Before You Delete
Please note:
- This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
- You will lose access to account-linked synced data when deletion completes.
- Active subscriptions should be cancelled separately in your Apple/Google subscription settings.
- For access/export/correction requests, contact [email protected].
Alternative: Request via Email
If you prefer, you can also request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to [email protected].
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
- Send from the email address associated with your account.
- We will process your request within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
